Ikea of Tampa
This is mainly for John. The grand opening of the Ikea store in Tampa will be May 6-10. I have already registered for the give-aways at the store's website http://info.ikea-usa.com/IKEAVirtualTour/?store=tampa. I can't wait to go and visit. I see it everyday when I drive home on the crosstown. They are suppose to have a restaurant at the store and serve breakfast every day until 11:00....scrambled eggs, home fries and bacon for 99cents! And here's a menu item Jackie and Art might like...apple glazed salmon (poached lime marinated salmon with apple and apricot glaze)for $6.99, and a hot dog for .50cents! And for Jackie...the bag lady...they have an environmentally friendly tote bag for 59cents.

Wow! Didn't know you could register for the giveaways thought you had to go the day before to stand in line overnight. I was disappointed that grand opening not on Mon or Fri. Waiting for the salmon and gosh a bag for 59 cents!
Does this mean we can expect a streamlined modern Scandinavian look to your home now?? I can't wait to come down and go shopping!
Got a flyer in the mail today! First 100 get free Poang armchair and first 250 get "mystery" gift envelope. But that is for next Wed. May 6....don't think I will be one of them. Some things I could afford...Svalka champagne flutes $4.99/6pk.Mouthblow glass vase $7.99, a Polarvide throw $3.99, cool table lamp $4.99, Kottbullar meatballs $7.99/2lb bag, chopping board set $2.99. I just can't wait!
