Nashville at the Ryman

The upstairs lobby in the new part. Behind me are doors to the balcony that were originally windows of the church

Another picture of the old front and side

The street where the "old" front of the Ryman can be seen

The new front door of the Ryman Auditorium (its added to the back of the building)

I like your photos and the subject matter. Didn't know that you were interested. Did the Greatful Dead play there?

Well, no, the Dead haven't played there (yet) but so many differant people have over the years. Many weren't country musicians. The buiding has a very interesting history.

Seems to me I have been there, at least in a former life. I saw a lot of places connected with the music industry. Went to the nightclub shown in "Nashville" (the one with Lily Tomlin in the scene). Also saw the Parthenon which is not connected with the music scene but is connected with Southern hubris.
