Maggie broke her arm!
Our friend Maggie fell on the monkey bars yesterday and fractured her arm. She now has a very impressive cast. Took her two hours at the ER to get it all taken care of but she was very brave. We are going over to her house tonight to celebrate the Harvest Moon with Vietnamese food, in honor of her little brother. He was very sweet when he heard his big sister had hurt herself and had a big boo-boo. He wanted to rush home to kiss it and make it better.

That's exactly how Meghan broke her arm....falling from the monkey bars. Meghan's cast was pink...did Maggie get a bright color choice? Hope she isn't in too much pain and can enjoy all the attention it will get her.

We saw Maggie last night for the Autumn Moon Festival complete with Vietnamese food. Maggie has a light cast and a sling decorated with butterflies. She was tired and went to bed early but otherwise seems fine.
I'll tell her to check our blog.
Dinosaurs on the sling -- so Mickey wants one too, now. She's getting her hard cast tomorrow, but in general she's doing great. I couldn't talk her into pain meds this afternoon.
