Update from Wilkesboro

Laura and I had a great time at Animal Kingdom. I was impressed with how well Disney can handle, move, feed, and extract large amounts of cash from hordes of tourists. I think I enjoyed our night time boat ride from Port Orleans to Downtown Disney the most. Although lunch at the Yak and Yeti Bar and Grill was good too. Mainly I just like to say the name: the Yak and Yeti. The Irish Pub wasn't bad either. It had Guinness on tap, a step dancer, Irish singers, and cheese and beer soap from heaven.

We saw lots of animals, but as I explain on Not Mayberry they are working animals with a strict idea of working hours - which is why the safari ride stops at 5 pm, no matter what. The animals of the savanna are already walking off the job and heading home.

We also saw a 3-D movie "It's tough to live a Bug's life" complete with stinkbug effluvia, wasps, and something big running under our seats. We were also going to go to the Dinosaur Ride which was supposed to be terrifying but just as we got to the doors ... they closed it down.

So now I am ready to let Disney Inc take over the town planning of Boone.

Christmas gifts are in the mail!

Well, that didn't take long. Meghan, Jenifer, Marshall, your savings bonds for Christmas are now officially in the mail. You should get them before June. Next month, all the birthday gifts will go out.

They may be a bit late, but the sentiment of giving them to you all is heartfelt and current(one goes out to Joanna too). These probably should be birthday gifts since almost everyone's birthday is in May, but then I still needed to send the Christmas ones. Life gets complicated when you are a procrastinator.

On the other hand, some problems do go away if you ignore them.

Joanna is the ballerina in the last picture of my self and Laura on Not Mayberry, where she is called Mulan.

Here is an odd little post

I went to an event that the Rowdies (F.C.Tampa Bay) had here in Tampa. Some of the players, management and the coach Paul Dalglish, were there, and I got to talk to a few of them. The coach saw me and started commenting that I looked like Mozzi, one of the Rowdies players. It became a joke after a while with Paul referring to me as "Mozzi's Dad". The photographer for the Rowdies even took a photo of me and Mozzi together. So to get family feedback on this, here is a photo of Mozzi Gyorio that I took.

Mother's Day Photos (On Mother's Day no less)

This may be a new record for me to post this quickly. Hey but what the heck. Here are a few photos that were taken over at Mother's today. Mother was joking around when I took the one of Scott and her. When I showed her the preview on the camera she said "Oh yes that's a good one." Then when I took the camera away she added "How was it of Scott."
