Confederate Memorial Dedication
Thomas and I attended the Dedication of the Confederate Memorial Park by the SCV on Saturday, April 25th. About 2000 to 3000 attended the event to listen to music, speakers and watch the raising of the largest Confederate Battle Flag in the world.It is a small park well landscaped with wrought iron gates and brickwork. The Memorial Marker is beautifully done. Be sure to stop by to see it, you can't miss the flag which is visible from I-75 and I-4.

Sorry but now can't find it. Went thru all the papers. Go to www.stpetetimes.com and type in confederate flag in the search box at top (make sure "site" clicked) and it should come up with picture. It's in the Monday paper.
