Here are a couple pictures from Meghan's and my Kansas City trip for another volleyball tournament. The one of her is not the best because I took it....the other pic posted last time was by another mother with a
much better camera. Anyway, there is one of the hotel we staid at too. It was the Hilton President hotel and very old and historic. It has been redone and is very nice except the elevators are very tiny. Oh and the windows opened to let in the nice breeze! We had a good time but didn't win any games. It was chilly too but sunny. Now she is off to Washington DC for the 8th grade trip. I have to have her at the airport at 5:00 a.m. Tuesday and she will be coming home late Friday afternoon. Then we are off to another volleyball tournament.

Nice old hotel. Reminds me on the outside of The Floridian downtown Tampa. Not a "bad" photo just your camera limitations.
I've been checking regularly about the opening of that old Floridian Hotel which they've been working for one a number of years. Daniel Ruth's mother got to peek inide when he did article sometime last year as she spent, I think, her honeymoon there during the war.
I can't wait to see what they've done with it especially the lobby.
