What is HE doing in his photos?
Jackie, Mom and I went out to church for a wedding today. It was for Flossie Murphy and Dayton Murray. It was a wedding with a catered "tea dance" afterward. Lots of family there for the bride and groom, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Here are a couple of photos from the event. Who is in the photos should be easy, but the question is who took them? Ariel took one and Jackie took the one of Mother and me dancing (posing).

Setting the record straight on Grand nieces
Since there were some quizzical comments on one of my recent posts, I thought that I should do a follow up. For the record this is actualy our fifth grand niece. Tam's daughter (Judys oldest niece) has two girls, age seven and one. Her brother who is Marshall's age (pay attention Marshall) has two girls, age 10 and 9. The new one is the daughter of Thanh (Ty) our nephew that came here to Tampa with his Father Day, Judy's brother. He married a Vietnamese girl from Orlando and is now staying over there with her family.
So to give you a better frame of reference here is a "family photo".

Koman Race For The Cure
Okay, I know everyone has been waiting patiently for a photo of me at the Koman breast cancer race (walk) for the cure. (Will maybe mildly interested.) So here goes. I dressed for the occasion as you can see. King had 54 people sign up and raised over 10,000 dollars. I raised 410 for my part. It was 5 kilometers or about 3 miles, but by the time I walked from the parking and back I was closer to 5 miles. Besides my photo there is one of most of the King group. I'll also post one of the "walk".

Update from North Carolina
Not all that much significant going on up here. Laura is still playing the piano for her church, I am still doing my little Episcopal book club. The book we are reading now is In the Beginning, the story of the King James translation of the Bible. It's a lot of fun.
Last week at my weekly Mellow Mushroom night I got to spend the whole evening with my friend Joanna - she had a little encyclopedia type book about all the creatures in the Harry Potter books. Since I've 'read' - or rather 'listened' to - all of the Harry Potter books in my car, Elizabeth, I am able to converse with eleven year olds just fine. We had a lot of fun and I told her all about Leo and me seeing the Chocolate Pony again (you have to have read 'notmayberry.blogspot.com to understant the reference).
We need to get a digital camera so we can start putting pictures up on the blog. You can expect pictures of Laura and me with Leo, Laura and me with Ben, Laura and me with Mosby, Laura and me with Ben AND Mosby - but none at all of Laura and me with Ben, Mosby, and Leo, the Dog.
We both really like Meghan's new glasses, and have amused ourselves trying to imagine who the four people are that Meghan gets to call on her Miga phone. She looks as cute as Tram with her glasses!
Well, that will do for now. I am going to update Not Mayberry soon, so you might check that again in a day or two. Joey has finally gotten back to his blog, 'Joey is Right Here'.

New Stuff
Hey everybody, Friday October 6 I got new glasses and a Verizon Migo cell phone ( You can only call 4 people on it but anybody can call me). I really like my new glasses. I also can see really better. Oh, my Migo phone also has an emergency button to call 911. I lost another tooth and 4 are coming in. -- Meghan
Yes, Meghan had a big day yesterday (and so did mommy's check book). She has Friday and Monday off of school so of course I have Friday and Monday off work. We have a game today at 3:00 and I have to work the concession stand from 1:00-3:00. It should be a long afternoon!

Old and new photos
Have a couple of photos to keep things interesting. One was taken this last Sunday when Judy had her family and ours over for Vietnamese Banh Xao or omelet. The photo that I am posting is of Mother and Elizabeth on the "Sam Case" bench that we got when we were in Purcellville last trip. The next is of Meghan, Tram, and Andy. You notice that Andy couldn't take his eyes off of the TV for the photo.
Then an older one that was taken when John and Karen were down. It was taken up at Crispers and Karen took it because I am in it. (WOW) The next one has Karen in it.

I will be going over to St. Pete on Saturday morning to walk for the Koman Caner fund. I have raised $410 so far and my company over $9000. Wish me luck.
