I scanned this in from the negative the other day. I've always liked the set up of this with the orchard grass shocks. It is interesting in another way also. In the center of the picture is the locust tree grove where Grand Daddy built their house. This was taken around 1956.

Yes. It's beginning to come back to me now. That's me isn't it? And the field must be the one north of where the house would go, between the new house and Hamilton, wasn't it? I must have been 7 if it was taken in '56.
Do you plan to scan anymore?
Scott
Your orientation is wrong. You would be looking at the front of the house from here. The woods is on the left. 707 is running left to right in the direction that you are facing. The house was built just toward the right and in front of the locust trees as you see in the picture. Yes I will be scanning more and have a goodly number scaned already. Any requests for blog or email?
You're right. That was my first thought, but then I misidentified the copse of trees and got turned around.
But is that me in the field? It sure looks like the back of my head.
Scott
Yes, its you. Cann't you reconize your back side.
I knew it was Scott when I first saw it. Blaine you picked a perfect picture for October. Looking forward to more even if there are no good ones of me.
